Squiggles on the broad concept of comfort, nurture and family happened in the wee hours of the morning. This is the second uploaded and I may make them and the rest into one big PDF and see if it sells on Etsy. I find these ones inspiring, personally, when it comes to getting my paints out. ย See what happens… give me a bit of time.
I am curious about what you see in these squiggle pictures. Sometimes the mood comes over me, and these pictures come out really fast. One after the other. There are probably over twenty of them. Good for poetry prompts? Do they leave plenty of room for your own expression in colour?
Happy Colouring,

I like to diminish the power of that sharpness – dull it and blunt it out of existence. ๐

I am really liking those words that you are writing. I love the image of the river polishing the shards of glass to smooth shapes that can’t wound…great word pictures!

Hey thank you! ๐
I had a quick visit to your blog, and your choice of picture to go with your poems is spot-on. I feel the broken heartland of shattered glass… and my heart pumps out a river with round rocks that polish those shards into smooth shapes that cannot wound. Look – you’ve inspired me to write some words. ๐

This is wonderful. I immediately sense a close knit family. The father on the outside protecting his family.

I’m glad it has a calming effect. This theme is likely to keep popping up in future. Family is very important to me.

Yes – this is more where I saw this one going in my head when you did it first. Very calming and appealing.
