Geometric Repeat Patterns: Shine like a star

Hey there my Wildersoul blog Family!

Okay guys, this is what it started out like.  I was inspired by a beautiful pattern embossed in gold on a classic old book cover.  My daughter pointed out the repeat, as it all kind of blends together when I look at it.  So here is the single unit that repeats (looks a bit like a mandala drawing?)

Then I copied it lots of times:

And the finished framed pattern – Ta Daaah!

I love it – I have always loved symmetrical, geometric repeat patterns.

Thank you for the suggestion!

I invite all my followers, “feel free to let me know what kind of things you like to colour.”

I enjoy the challenge of giving it a go.  It may or may not turn out – and that’s okay, because things are learned along the way.  If you have a look back over the last few posts, you’ll see I started out not so great with the repeat patterns, and I’ve got gradually better at it.

All the best with starting something new in your creative life.

Love to all,

~WilderSoul
