I wanted plenty of room for colouring, and also wanted an unusual frame which was geometric, and went scouting the city to photograph any square-shaped things I came across. This series is of intersections in a concrete pathway, where some interesting large cubes formed both a barrier to vehicles, and also a seat for pedestrians.
Plenty of room for imagination in the four corners of this composition.
This piece of concrete had chipped and crumbled a little… When I turned it all black and white, the chipped bits reminded me of a person laying down flat. Can you see it?
Not quite square, more triangular… The centre piece is the corner of a square – will you let me off the hook?
